Vicki is a gifted stager and I recommend using her with great enthusiasm. When I saw how Vicki staged her first house in South Nyack, it was just how I wanted my own home to look. Her staging definitely increased the sales price. Her second house, a large 1790 Gothic in Grandview, had 50 years of neglect. Each month revealed new problems. Yet Vicki completed the renovation under budget and on time. When the house went on the market, all 40 brokers at the Open House were amazed at Vicki’s staging and her success at bringing this historic home back to life.

The best gift to give to your home and to yourself is Vicki Samuels. She is immensely talented, quick to re-create any interior or exterior, and the hardest worker I know. In two hours she took a guest room I couldn’t bare to enter and transformed it. She then re-organized my library bookcase, giving it not just order but great style. She sat with me, going through closets stuffed with junk  and item by item she patiently helped me  emotionally to either throw out, recycle, or neatly store.  She then re-created the space, giving me much more room. On the outside, Vicki took my depressing New York City garden, which my family didn’t use, and landscaped an incredible beautiful city retreat. I can’t wait until Vicki comes back to continue organizing every drawer, every closet, every storage area and finessing each bookcase, glass cabinet, fireplace mantel, and table top to highlight my own individual’s style.

I had been living in my new house for a year and felt frustrated at my inability to make it feel like a home. There were unattractive interior aspects that I didn’t know how to downplay. After Vicki redesigned my house, it finally felt like the sanctuary I had always wanted and the showplace I could be excited to show off to my friends.
